Diaries

Feel free to peruse my diary entries.  If you have been thinking about joining the Navy and want to know what boot camp is like, my boot camp diary will provide some insight.  It is mostly filled with unnecessary screaming, mundane tasks and the frustration of living in close and unsanitary quarters of 80 strangers.

A-school is a step up from boot camp naturally, though still with its own frustrations and idiosyncratic experiences.  You are allowed to have social interactions with your shipmates.  You are allowed to carry complete conversations during chow.  Fun things include visiting the MWR, library, or the local Walmart or mall or as in my case borrowing the piano at the Chapel during lunch.
